The Role
As the Head of Marketing Operations you will be responsible for creating innovative digital marketing strategies that will build our brand, leading to increased awareness, revenue and an improved market position. You will oversee the marketing operations team, working closely with the CMO and other senior leaders to design and execute digital initiatives that will support continuous revenue growth.

Key Objectives & Deliverables

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with the company's overall business goals and objectives.
  • Lead all marketing operations activity, including management of the marketing operations team. Serve as a change agent throughout the organization. 
  • Ownership of the marketing technology stack for the global organization.
  • Champion the use of digital technology and best practices across the business. 
  • Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing across functions to establish and support a robust marketing ecosystem. 
  • Develop data-driven metrics to determine the ROI of marketing efforts and provide key reporting and insights on marketing operations to the CMO and executive leadership team.
  • Lead the creation/production of inspiring campaigns that build the brand and drive revenue.
  • Support the wider marketing teams with tools that provide efficiency and flexibility, measuring results and adjusting the plan to achieve goals quickly.
  • Skills and qualifications

  • Marketo - Highly advanced 
  • 8+ years of marketing experience, focussed on growth marketing.
  • 3+ years of experience as a team manager in a marketing context.
  • Advanced hands-on experience with marketing automation and revenue generating marketing technologies. You will act as a point of technical escalation for your team.
  • Hands on experience with the following tools is required: Marketo, Zapier, Salesforce CRM, Google Ads, Linkedin Ads, Webhooks, HTML/CSS for web and email.
  • Hands on experience with the following tools would be highly regarded: Netlify, Segment, Google Tag Manager, OneTrust, ZoomInfo. 
  • Understanding of Python & SQL for marketing automation purposes.
  • Experience developing operational-level marketing strategies in line with the vision of the organization.
  • Innovative and disruptive mindset with a deep understanding of digital marketing and marketing operations strategies.
  • Commercially-minded; A proven track record of creating campaigns and initiatives that drive and increase revenue.
  • Domain-expert; Thorough knowledge of marketing operations principles in a B2B context. 
  • Knowledge of marketing SaaS companies and/or telecommunications companies.
