The Role
We're looking for a City Operations Manager to lead the daily operations of our Melbourne.
Duties will include:
- Own market level KPIs for financial and operational performance with responsibility for P&L, customer growth, retention and revenue.
- Motivate, coach, and develop a team covering front of house retail as well as back of house mechanics and field operations while building a positive culture.
- Create and deliver strategic sales and marketing initiatives suited to market trends
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience and instill customer-centric values in the team
- Ensure compliance with operational SOPs and continuous contribute to process improvements
- Responsibility for stock take and ensuring appropriate stock levels are maintained for the city at all times to support effective daily operations
- Labour spend and roster management
- Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines and safety audits
Requirements
- Relevant Diploma or Degree in Business Management or similar (retail, operations).
- Experience in an operations management position, retail management position or similar.
- Management experience leading a team.
- Demonstrated experience in sales or marketing.
- Hands on operator with a strong on-floor presence who gets things done.
- Ownership mentality. No job is too big or too small.
- Self-starter. Excited by a growth environment and willing to try new strategies while keeping the focus on achieving results.
- Agility. Thrives in rapidly changing, fast-paced, and ambiguous conditions.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work comfortably with a wide range of stakeholders, from back of house mechanics to central support office team members.
