Our team is transforming ecommerce logistics and fulfilment; creating a better way to shop for millions of customers at THE ICONIC.

We are currently on the look out for a Business Development Specialist to join us on a 12 Month Max Term Contract. As a Business Development Specialist - FBI, you will drive growth and expansion of our fulfilment services within THE ICONIC's platform ecosystem. You will identify and develop new business opportunities, ensuring our services meet the needs of partners and enhance customer satisfaction.

 About the role:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our fulfilment services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor solutions for prospective clients.
  • Assist in developing strategic partnerships with e-commerce vendors to enhance service offerings.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities to inform business strategies.
  • Support the preparation of proposals and presentations for potential partners.
  • Monitor and report on sales metrics and business development activities.
  • Assist in negotiating contracts and agreements with partners, ensuring mutual benefits.
  • Actively manage partners through the business development pipeline; taking ownership and working with external and internal stakeholders to brands live as quickly as .possible
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing partners to ensure service satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including product, marketing, operations and customer support to ensure FBI is  meeting user needs and ICONIC platform scale requirements.

About you… 

  • 2-3 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in e-commerce or logistics.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and market trends.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organised, motivated self-starter with ability to lead the development and execution of comprehensive business development plans and monitor progress
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Utilise business intelligence tools to gain insights into customer needs
  • Thinking strategically and developing innovative sales and profit strategies that will drive growth
  • Experience with fulfilment services or logistics.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and their ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with SaaS solutions and digital transformation trends.
  • Ability to use data visualisation tools to present insights.
  • A strong team player who embodies our ICONIC Principles
