This specific position will ensure a smooth integration of our recent acquisition of Syft Analytics to accelerate our mission to provide powerful insights. Syft Analytics is the leading global cloud-based reporting, insights, and analytics platform for small businesses, accountants, and bookkeepers.

Please note, due to your collaborating team being based in South Africa, this position may require regular late hours between 5pm to 8pm, on Tuesday and Wednesday for the first 12 months. 

About the role:

As a Lead Engineer at Xero, you'll be a role model for engineering excellence, supporting your team to grow their technical capability and improve development practices. 

This is a hands-on, "on the tools" role. You'll play a key role in integrating analytics tools into our ecosystem and building beautiful analytics from the ground up, creating experiences that turn complex data into clear, actionable insights for our customers.
