As a core leader at Tixel, you'll be steering our growth and marketing efforts, seamlessly blending strategy with execution to take us to the next level. You’ll be the champion of Tixel’s unique identity, driving efficient growth and making bold, strategic decisions to achieve our mission. The Gig

  • Growth Strategy

    • Lead the brand, performance, and product marketing teams, actively shaping Tixel’s strategic direction and driving initiatives that achieve the company’s goals and ROI targets

    • Help drive data-driven strategies for user acquisition, re-engagement, and expansion.

    • bBalance acquisition and retention tactics tailored to both new and established markets to achieve growth objectives and enhance fan engagement.

    • Provide strategic direction for growth team, initiatives and be the voice and advocate for growth within Tixel

  • Brand and market positioning

    • Expand presence in key regions with innovative, partner-focused marketing.

    • Balance B2B efforts to build relationships with event organisers and B2B2C initiatives to engage fans.

    • Position Tixel as the trusted platform for fair ticket exchanges through impactful campaigns.

  • Leadership and team building

    • Inspire and lead a high-performing team, encouraging collaboration and innovation.

    • Recruit top talent to support Tixel’s growth and marketing goals.

  • Reporting and ROI

    • Collaborate with Product and BI to identify growth drivers, optimise LTV, and deliver insights to stakeholders.

    • Track marketplace metrics and test strategies to leverage key growth opportunities

    • Report growth progress and insights to the board.

Outcomes

  • Directly manage brand, performance, and product marketing teams.

  • Accurately allocate budget across regions for maximum growth impact, continuously evaluating and adjusting strategies.

  • Collaborate with the leadership team to set and advocate for data-driven growth initiatives.

  • Produce growth packs and reports for the board, providing a clear, concise summary of how Tixel is tracking.

  • Identify and recruit key talent to expand the team, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.

Skills and Experience

  • Creative Brand Visionary: Strong eye for brand with out-of-the-box thinking to drive unique, creative strategies.

  • B2B & B2C Expertise: Proven experience in both B2B and B2C environments, adept at engaging event organizers and fans, with a solid grasp of B2B brand marketing.

  • Global Growth Mindset: Experience in scaling across countries or regions, especially in Australia, the UK, and the US, with the ability to adapt strategies to local market conditions.

  • Commercial Acumen: Strong capability in budgeting, forecasting, and ROI assessments, with a focus on CAC ratios to allocate resources effectively.

  • Leadership & Team Management: Proven track record in leading and inspiring teams, balancing hands-on involvement with strategic direction to drive results.

  • Data-Driven Decision Maker: Skilled in leveraging analytics to inform growth strategies, optimizing KPIs, conversion funnels, and campaign performance with a deep understanding of marketplace dynamics.
