How you’ll make an impact

As a Senior Product Manager you will be responsible for excellence in driving customer and business value through ownership of new and existing products. You will be comfortable working in complex product spaces that require navigating larger degrees of ambiguity and comprehensive stakeholder management. You will manage products end-to-end, from early-stage research and ideation, through to implementation and improvement over time. Your impact will be measured by key commercial and customer success metrics. 

What you'll do

  • Lead customer engagement, research, and insights to inform strategy, planning, and product development
  • Identify complex and valuable customer problems, framing and validating possible solutions
  • Develop and execute product strategy and roadmaps, including securing funding and resourcing
  • Be innovative in the use of technology to help our Marketing teams achieve their goals
  • Manage risk related to security, privacy, compliance, and responsible data use
  • Lead end-to-end product lifecycle management—from ideation through launch to iteration or sunset
  • Facilitate team cadence, rituals, and delivery performance, ensuring roadmap alignment and OKR execution
  • Look after two pods of engineers, supporting their delivery and development
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across the business and product function
  • Coach and support team members, contribute to recruitment, and embed product best practices across Xero
  • What you’ll bring

  • Strong experience working with agile methodologies in a software development context
  • Proven ability to shape product roadmaps and long-term strategy across multiple or complex products
  • Experience influencing outcomes across varied stakeholder groups and business levels
  • A solid track record of using technology to solve customer problems and deliver commercial value
  • Experience collaborating with Marketing or exposure to MarTech is a plus
  • Experience with Salesforce or Marketing Cloud is a bonus
  • Demonstrated capability in mentoring, supporting, and developing product team members
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to align teams around vision and delivery
