The Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and collaborative candidate looking to progress their career within the HR/People & Culture field!
Working directly with our Senior People & Culture Manager, you will ensure Showpo remains compliant with all employment and NES standards, ensure maintenance of our policies, procedures and employee documentation and also work with our incredible Distribution Centre on warehouse related issues. Additionally - you will act as a culture contributor within the Showpo team; assisting with the implementation of employee engagement initiatives and assisting our team with a wide range on enquiries.
Day to day, you will:
Learn and execute People Operations at Showpo, ensuring compliance across: Data Management, Payroll, Policy & Procedure, National Employment Standards (NES), OH&S and Employment Relations (with assistance as you learn!)Learn and maintain knowledge of the legal requirements of day-to-day management of employees, including any legal risks or compliance changesWork with leaders and managers within the Distribution Centre (with input from Senior P&C Manager) to manage any grievances for their team members, and provide guidance where appropriate to leaders to help them get the most out of their teamsEnsure Showpo's annual people cycle and programs within it (compensation, performance, engagement survey) are set up and the documentation is completed and accurateRefine and ‘be the steward’ of Showpo's onboarding and off-boarding experiencePost, source and manage new job positions at ShowpoOffice coordination - liaise with the building manager on any issues and ensure the office is well stocked (weekly grocery and regular stationary orders)
Who are we looking for?
Previous exposure to working within a P&C/HR team highly regarded Proactive, confidential culture contributor with an exceptionally high level of attention to detailAbility to work in a fast paced and agile environment Ability to work with a variety of different stakeholders and deal with confidential matters with a high level of professionalism and discretionHybrid working - 2 days from office HQ in Glebe, 3 work from home and monthly visits to our Chullora warehouse (parking on site)
