As an individual contributor, this role will drive the strategy and execution of impactful content that analyses emerging trends, influences industry perspectives and positions Employment Hero and spokespeople as trusted thought leaders. You will drive our event content strategy for our global company events, creating positioning, themes, session outlines and scripts. 

What might your days look like 

You’ll play a key role in collaborating with senior leadership and work closely with the CEO/Founder to communicate the company’s vision and point of view into compelling types of content addressing mixed external audiences. You will be a strategic thinker with a passion for championing small businesses and employment and a proven track record for delivering impactful results.

As our Thought Leadership and Event Narrative Lead, you'll:

• Lead  content strategy for global company events and thought leadership campaigns, aligned with our global strategy, goals and local market needs
•  Analyse and review Employment Hero data and market insights to inform content strategy and measure the effectiveness of thought leadership efforts. 
• Search and understand topics that are important to Employment Hero to provide strong evidence to support views and narratives
• Write and develop key messages for global company events and global speaking presentations
•  Drive our event content strategy for our global company events, creating positioning, themes, session outlines and scripts. 
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business, including executives, Newsroom, Insights, Marketing, Sales, Product and other teams

What will you bring

• 8  years+ of experience of relevant Communications or Content Marketing experience, with HR industry experience preferred 
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful content strategies that drive business results.
• Deep experience working with senior executives and subject matter experts in developing a range of content including,  key messages, presentations, scripts, articles and more.
• A keen eye for detail, ensuring all content that goes out externally is strategic, on-brand and valuable to our audiences.
• Proven ability to prioritise, multi-task and manage multiple deadlines.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, and are committed to working to a high standard.
• The ability to confidently liaise with senior stakeholders and business decision-makers, and hold yourself accountable.
• Curiosity, are a team-player and can build supportive and collaborative relationships.
