About the Role
A Senior Engineer provides technical and delivery leadership for a team of engineers working on specific projects. This role will work with stakeholders and other engineers to design and implement technical solutions for the business in a way that balances quality, cost, time and maintainability.

About you
Is likely to have 5+ years of web and/or software development, including lead responsibility on several projectsHas experience with automated testing frameworksHas experience with dynamic public-facing web appsHas proven ability to lead and deliver multiple projects over a period of timeHas working knowledge of the entire stack of a large scale web environment UNIX/Linux operating systemsWeb servers, proxies and load balancersRelevant server-side programming languagesSQL and NoSQL database solutionsRelevant client-side programming languagesHTML and CSSBack-end and front-end performance considerations and scaling -strategiesDemonstrates ability to communicate effectively with the rest of the team and key stakeholders within the businessEffectively takes and gives constructive feedback to work towards a better solutionEffectively and proactively communicates with stakeholders for delivery of required and desired functionalityIs professionally self aware and can objectively and dispassionately evaluate their own strengths and weaknessesPro-actively seeks and acts upon feedback on their performance from stakeholders and managersEngages with the technology community and helps grow Envato as a technical brandDisplays honesty, openness, fairness, transparency and integrity in line with the Envato value
