Following our successful Series C funding and ongoing expansion, we are seeking an experienced Senior FP&A Manager to lead our financial planning, analysis, and reporting efforts. As we scale, this key role will partner with senior leadership to drive data-driven financial decision-making and shape strategic growth initiatives. This highly visible position offers the chance to make a significant impact on the company’s financial processes and future trajectory

Summary of the role:

As a Senior FP&A Manager at InDebted, you will play a vital role in overseeing financial planning and analysis activities. You’ll be responsible for developing and managing the company’s budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with the broader business strategy. By analysing financial data, monitoring performance, and conducting variance analysis, you’ll provide key insights to senior leadership to support data-driven decision-making. This role also involves collaborating with various departments across the organisation to ensure financial objectives are integrated into wider business plans. You'll optimise financial processes, identify opportunities for cost reduction, and improve overall efficiency. Scenario planning, risk management, and presenting recommendations to stakeholders are also critical aspects of this position.

Ultimately, as a Senior FP&A Manager, you will help drive financial performance, ensuring InDebted remains competitive and achieves its long-term goals.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the development and execution of the company’s Annual Budget, Fiscal Year Forecasts, and Cash Flow.
  • Build and monitor long-range forecasting models, identifying key business drivers and risks.
  • Provide financial and analytical support to solve complex problems, influence decision-making, and contribute to business strategy.
  • Conduct monthly variance reviews and forecast updates by working closely with business leads to identify key areas for improvement.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., R&D, S&M, Operations, etc.) to track ROI on key initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and financial performance.
  • Collaborate with department heads to set and monitor financial KPIs, providing insights and recommendations to ensure targets are met and initiatives stay on track.
  • Track and report key financial metrics to management and stakeholders, providing clear updates on financial performance and project-specific outcomes.
  • Develop and implement scalable and efficient financial processes, including those integrated with our upcoming new ERP system, to support a rapidly growing business.
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate financial closes.
  • Assist with the financial integration of M&A activities, ensuring acquired entities are incorporated into the company’s planning, forecasting, and reporting processes, while aligning with long-term financial strategies.
  • Identify tools and resources needed to support the growth of the FP&A function and lead the implementation of those tools, including financial planning, data integration, and budgeting solutions.
  • Take on any additional responsibilities as assigned by the VP Finance.
  • Mentor and coach direct reports: Offer guidance, support, and growth opportunities to ensure the continuous professional development of FP&A analysts.
  • What We Need From You:

  • 5+ years of financial analysis experience, preferably in a technology or high-growth company.
  • Extensive financial modelling experience, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to dive into the details and perform critical financial tasks directly, not just oversee, in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where active involvement is essential.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and challenge business leaders, while presenting complex financial information clearly.
  • Excellent presentation skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Demonstrated analytical prowess, strategic thinking, and an ability to dive deep into the details while maintaining a high-level overview.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; (CFA or MBA is a plus)
  • In Your First 3-6 Months, You Will:

  • Gain a deep understanding of the company’s industry, key financial drivers, and operational mechanics.
  • Review the existing financial model and propose a future state and strategic roadmap.
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers across the company and provide impactful financial analysis.
  • Develop strong ties with the strategy team and build robust financial forecasts for new markets and strategic initiatives.
  • Hire at least one extra analyst to help support the ever growing demand
  • What We Offer:

  • Competitive compensation and benefits.
  • Opportunity to shape and grow the FP&A function in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
  • Collaborative culture with a focus on innovation and excellence.
