An exciting 13-month maternity leave contract has come up to join Showpo as our part-time Finance Manager! You’ll be stepping into a vibrant, dynamic team, with plenty of perks and a fun company culture. This role will require working 3-4 days per week.

We’re seeking an experienced Finance Manager who can confidently take ownership of our finance function throughout this period. If you're ready to bring your expertise to a collaborative and supportive environment, we'd love to hear from you!

Day to day, you will

  • Oversee the end-to-end operations of the accounting & finance function
  • Work closely with the CFO, CEO, and Leadership Team-members to set the budget and strategy for the organisation as well as other ad-hoc projects
  • Deliver timely and accurate monthly reporting
  • Business partnering with all departments to review monthly results and support commercial decision making
  • Provide financial planning and analysis
  • Assist with budgeting on a line-of-business basis
  • Overseeing the Payroll process
  • Managing accounting & finance team members
  • Managing external advisors & bookkeepers
  • Manage treasury operations including cashflow forecasting & management
  • Compliance with statutory law and financial regulations
  • Preparation of annual financial statements and tax compliance including company tax returns, IAS and BAS statements
  • Manage international tax compliance (EU, NZ, UK & US)
  • Oversight of contracting schedule for key suppliers
  • Coordinate annual insurance renewals
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders such as Banks and Payment Gateway Providers
  • Who are we looking for?

  • CA/CPA level accounting qualifications
  • 3yrs experience as a Finance Manager
  • High proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
  • Strong stakeholder management & communication skills
  • Experience using Xero (preferably), or other cloud-based accounting software
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Interest in project management and process improvement
  • Management and/or mentoring experience
  • Work within a KPI-focused environment; both individually, as well as formulating KPIs across different departments
