Founded in 2015 by two UNSW roommates (Vince Allen - a PhD student in solar, and David Hu – a former investment banker), we have come a long way from the breakthrough made in their garage to producing the world’s most efficient commercial-sized solar panel.
We are backed by some of Australia’s top venture capital firms (Blackbird, Main Sequence, Virescent, and Mike Cannon-Brooke’s private investment fund, Grok), tech founders, a former Australian Prime Minister, and the Australian Government.
As a result of a direct request from SunDrive, in March 2024, Australian Prime Minister, The Hon. Anthony Albanese, announced the funding of a $1B program (“SolarSunshot”) to support the establishment of an Australian solar manufacturing industry.
As our new Legal and Operations Manager, you have a dual focus as our in-house legal counsel while also providing operational management. This will present you with a career defining opportunity to transition you from professional services to a career in the startup / scaleup world and a gateway to diversify your legal skillset into an operational leadership role.
