An innovative medical device which uses suction to create a vacuum and retract the liver in laparoscopic surgery.LiVac
Livac has developed, and is responsible for the manufacturing and distribution of the LiVac Retractor System, a single use soft silicon device that attaches to regulated suction in order to create a vacuum which joins the liver and diaphragm. Livac’s vision is to minimise the invasiveness of surgery requiring liver retraction, improve patient outcomes, and to contribute meaningfully to technical innovations in this field. The Livac team is a group of highly skilled specialists with expertise in technology commercialisation, manufacture, sales and global distribution.
