What problems does PayNinja solve? PayNinja solves two critical problems simultaneously. First, it solves the issue of trust when managing and paying contractors spread across multiple geographical boundaries and time zones. Second, it automates processes around contractor management, payment and invoices. Our Mission We believe the future of work is independent and decentralized, and that there is a better way to manage and pay distributed teams. Through our technology and our people, we strive to make the future workplace fair and efficient for all. Who are we? PayNinja was born out of the frustration experienced by our founders Nathan Challen and Marisol Challen when managing their distributed teams. Agreeing on the terms, the work to be done and signing contracts got messy. Time-sheets became time consuming, old-fashioned and painful to maintain. So when it came to payment, they first needed to check time-sheets, review the work and manually process the payment. This quickly became a nightmare and they still didn’t know if what they paid was correct. After spending over 15 years dealing with these pains, Nathan and Marisol knew what had to be done to make the process of managing and paying freelancers across the globe more efficient and fair. So they joined the H2 Fintech Accelerator in Sydney and set out to solve a problem.
