StageBitz was founded by Catherine Prosser and Mat Lawrence in 2010 with the specific goal of helping the entertainment industry become more effective, efficient and sustainable. StageBitz is a web application for the management of props, costumes and other items by professional production companies. StageBitz provides a streamlined, efficient and cost-effective way to collaborate on productions, and then takes that project information to create a central company inventory of all the items owned by that company, encouraging reuse and recycling of previously wasted items. We even make it possible to share your items online with other companies. We save companies time and money, improve their communciation and increase their business and environmental sustainability. Since launching in January 2013, we have companies and universities in the UK, USA, Canada and Australia working smarter with StageBitz.
