Our mission is two fold: find promising early stage startups and pour fuel on their fire, while creating the most successful and diverse investment community. Working Theory Angel network was launched in 2020 by angel investor and startup ecosystem veteran Rachael Neumann with the dual purpose of driving more private capital into the early stage startups through increasing the quantity and quality of angel investors. Rachael saw the disconnect of amazing companies seeking funding on one side, and curious potential investors on the other. Working Theory Angels is helping to bridge that gap through a new model of investing that looks to increase speed, deal volume, and reduce risk through portfolio theory. Working Theory Angels combines the purchase power of a fund with the flexibility of syndicate, giving its members access to the best early stage opportunities, and the confidence and competence to invest in them.
