We’re hipages, Australia’s #1 digital platform connecting homeowners with trusted tradies. As an ASX-listed tech company, we're on a mission to transform the trade industry and improve lives.

With teams across Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines and Vietnam, we work as one team with a shared purpose.

We’re proud to be a certified Great Place to Work and WORK180’s #1 Employer for Women. At hipages, you’ll find real impact, career growth and a workplace where everyone belongs.

About the role:

The Pricing Analyst is a high-impact individual contributor embedded in the Pricing & Packaging (P&P) cross-functional team at hipages Group. You’ll work at the intersection of commercial strategy, product and data to drive pricing decisions that grow yield and improve customer outcomes.

This role sits within the Commercial & Strategy function but operates across Product, Sales and Marketing to deliver hipages’ transition from blanket subscription price increases to a sophisticated, value-based pricing and packaging model (including tiered packages, add-on features and a self-serve customer acquisition funnel).

You’ll be the analytical engine behind P&P decisions: building pricing models, designing and interpreting experiments, tracking revenue optimisation initiatives and generating insights that directly inform the company’s commercial strategy and financial plans.

Why join our finance team?

  • 💻 Hybrid working model
  • 💸 Competitive salary, benefits and perks, plus equity via our Employee Share Program
  • 🪴 In-house Talent Development team to support your personal and career growth
  • 🤸 Achieve results in an agile team, flat organisational structure
  • 1️⃣ One team culture with our teams in Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines and Vietnam.

How you will add value:

Pricing Strategy & Modelling:

  • Build and maintain pricing models to evaluate the revenue and margin impact of packaging changes, price point adjustments and new product introductions
  • Develop and own the quantitative framework underpinning hipages’ value-based pricing evolution, including willingness-to-pay analysis and cohort-level price elasticity modelling
  • Support the design of tiered packaging structures and add-on feature pricing, translating commercial objectives into analytically grounded recommendations
  • Model scenarios for rookie conversion, ascension funnel performance and entry-level package economics to inform go-to-market decisions

Revenue Optimisation:

  • Partner with Product and Sales to identify, size and prioritise immediate revenue optimisation opportunities across the customer lifecycle
  • Track and report on the performance of live pricing initiatives - including self-serve sign-up, ascension funnel, NZ pricing and review management upgrades - with clear metric ownership and variance commentary
  • Analyse conversion funnel data (demos, trials, T&C drop-off, credit pack buyers) to identify levers for incremental revenue
  • Monitor and help optimise the self-serve funnel (across categories as we continue to add licenced categories), including Apple commission fee exposure modelling

Commercial Analysis & Reporting:

  • Work closely with the Pricing & Packaging team Data Analyst to deliver commercial performance reporting, providing pricing-specific analysis and commentary for the Senior Leadership Team
  • Support the VP, Commercial & Strategy and Head of Commercial & Data Analytics with ad hoc commercial investigations and Board-level deliverables
  • Produce clear, decision-ready outputs - slide-ready analysis, data summaries and recommendations - calibrated to executive and cross-functional audiences

Cross-functional collaboration:

  • Serve as the quantitative anchor of the cross-functional Pricing & Packaging team, collaborating closely with Product Managers, Sales leads, the Data Analytics team and Marketing.
  • Work with the FP&A function to ensure pricing assumptions are correctly reflected in budgets, reforecasts and the Group’s corporate financial model
  • Contribute to the data culture of the Commercial team by building reusable pricing tools and promoting self-serve access to pricing data

About you:

  • Tertiary degree in Commerce, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or a related quantitative discipline
  • 3–5 years of experience in a commercial, strategy or analytics role: pricing experience in a marketplace, SaaS or subscription business is highly advantageous
  • Strong financial modelling skills, with the ability to build robust, flexible models from scratch and clearly communicate their assumptions and outputs
  • Experience leveraging AI to accelerate SQL data extraction and Python/R econometric modelling, ensuring technical accuracy and data integrity
  • Comfortable working with BI tools (Tableau or equivalent) to build and interpret dashboards
  • Experience designing or interpreting A/B tests and pricing experiments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills - able to produce slide-ready analysis and present to senior stakeholders with confidence
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment, managing competing priorities and stakeholder expectations
