About the Role
As a Customer Success Executive, you will lead and deliver successful end-to-end Compass implementation for our schools in the Independent School sector.
Acting as a key liaison between clients and internal teams, this role drives effective project execution, change management, and stakeholder alignment. It combines hands-on consulting, training, and configuration guidance.
What you’ll do:
- Act as a key liaison with client personnel to ensure project milestones and deliverables are clearly communicated, understood and on track.
- Conduct regular training sessions with client teams to support system configuration, testing and operational efficiency.
- Facilitate personalised consulting engagements, offering guidance on workflows, configuration best practices and business process alignment.
- Drive effective change management processes by ensuring all configurations are tested, iterated, approved and successfully deployed.
- Lead the implementation of multiple product modules across a unified platform or solution suite.
- Oversee and manage end-to-end software implementations for complex or strategic customers, ensuring delivery is on time and of high quality.
- Partner closely with the client-side project manager to support clear communication and stakeholder alignment.
- Coordinate across assigned implementation resources to ensure all project components are progressing according to plan.
- Collaborate with internal consultants, engineers and cross-functional teams to align on implementation timelines and execution.
- Share client-specific context and considerations with internal stakeholders. This may include regional market insights, project timelines and strategic priorities.
- Act as a lead representative for the implementation function by partnering with Sales, Product and Customer Experience teams to ensure a cohesive customer journey.
- Provide mentoring and onboarding support for junior implementation team members.
Requirements
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex software implementations, manage competing priorities and ensure high-quality, on-time delivery for our Independent Schools.
- Previous experience in the education sector, whether as a teacher or in roles such as Customer Success or Implementation Consultant, is greatly appreciated. Familiarity with the Compass platform would also be advantageous.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to build positive, trusted relationships with clients, educational staff, and senior stakeholders.
- Confidence in managing stakeholder expectations, facilitating alignment, and communicating risks and progress with clarity.
- A motivated, enthusiastic attitude with a demonstrated service mindset and the ability to lead by example. You are passionate about delivering value and creating a positive customer journey at every stage.
- Skillsets in guiding customers through business process alignment, configuration best practices, and organisational change management to ensure successful adoption of technology solutions.
- Experience in working closely with internal teams, including product, sales and customer success to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and execution.
- Proven ability to deliver effective, engaging training and mentoring to client teams, helping them build operational efficiency and confidence with the platform.
- The ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, remain composed under pressure.
- A proactive and solutions-focused mindset who can navigate ambiguity, quickly adapt to changing client needs, and drive creative problem resolution.
- Willingness and ability to provide support and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and excellence within the team.
