Culture Amp is looking for an exceptional FP&A Lead to join us in our mission to support the Culture Amp growth strategy. You will be responsible for global planning cycles, helping to ensure alignment and drive financial performance across the organisation delivering accurate forecasts and insightful analyses that drive strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. You will manage and enhance our FP&A processes to support our executive team and other key stakeholders through providing commercial insights and education on the financial implications of key decisions.

This is an opportunity to join a growing global SaaS business, with varied responsibilities that will no doubt elevate your career in finance within the SaaS / Tech industry. You will also have one direct report - the privilege to lead the Senior FP&A Analyst amongst a high performing and close knit Commercial Finance team. You will report to the Director of FP&A.

This position will be a 13 month fixed-term contract (parental leave cover).

In part of this team of amazing humans, 

You will:

  • Manage the Long Range Plan and Annual Operating Plan process
  • Support the Senior FP&A Analyst to drive the Quarterly Reforecast process
  • Oversee scenario modelling, what-if analysis and evolving cashflow visibility
  • Support the evolution of planning processes including system enhancements and automation, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with overall business goals
  • Provide ad-hoc commercial support including: improving process design; driving new  initiatives; performing trend / variance / commercial analysis; preparing financial models to support strategic planning activities
  • Drive the ROI evaluation of any ad-hoc business initiatives
  • Oversee the improvement reports and/or dashboards to facilitate analysis, decision making and assess performance
  • Proactively work with the business to improve financial outcomes, drive efficiency, create alignment and educate / empower where necessary

You have:

  • Proven experience managing global planning cycles (LRP, AOP and Quarterly Reforecast), using a planning tool
  • Proven experience in managing & advising senior stakeholders in a commercial support function
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and effectively to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling, advanced Excel skills, and experience with planning software and ERP systems (Netsuite and Adaptive Insights used at Culture Amp - experience in these systems preferred but not a prerequisite)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights
  • Have strong commercial acumen, with the ability to proactively identify risks and opportunities
  • Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills, with a creative flair

Skills / Experience required:

  1. 7-10 years experience, with a minimum of 2 years experience in an in-house FP&A team. 
  2. FP&A experience - managed budgeting / planning / reforecasting cycles
  3. CA / CPA qualified

Success in 3 months time success looks like:

  1. Have a detailed understanding of our business and what makes it tick, including an understanding of the SaaS operating model
  2. Understand the Culture Amp operating plan, systems infrastructure and support the quarterly reforecast process 
  3. Have identified opportunities to improve / streamline current planning process
