The Role
As the Reporting Analyst, you will be supporting the global Finance team at Zoomo, you will have a pivotal role in future financial business performance and managing external parties such as lenders with reporting requirements.  You will be a part of our Finance Planning & Analysis team which works directly with our CFO.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be comfortable working in an ever changing, dynamic environment, be hands-on and willing to go into the details, and have excellent communication skills. There will of course be opportunities to grow and learn at the same time and be a part of the building the function at warp speed.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of all our reporting for our external debt lenders & develop a roadmap to continue to promote improvements
  • Manage the relationship with our external debt funder
  • Critically evaluate our Information Systems to identify the core inputs that drive processes & keep stakeholders accountable
  • Develop an understanding of how our data can be used to improve finance team’s reporting and analysis
  • Build and improve Google Looker Studio reports for monthly financial reports to regional and departments
  • Understand the nuts and bolts of our operational models and what the financial implications are.
  • Working closely with CFO and commercial finance manager on budgeting processes, working through challenges to optimize outcomes
  • Assist with financial modelling processes for internal and external purposes.
  • Assist with pricing / commercial deals with the B2B business sector.
  • Continue to redesign our processes to optimize efficiency and determine the best approach
  • Drive the monthly analysis of regional and department performances

Requirements

Technical Skills

  • Minimum of 3 + years experience, Treasury or Commercial Finance or FP&A would be well received
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, preferably with a major in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Statistics
  • Advanced Excel skills and a strong understanding of how inputs drive financial models
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, while maintaining a flexible approach to work from either the office or home
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience with SQL or Tableau or Power BI advantageous
  • Strong sense of accountability and initiative, with the ability to streamline functions
  • Great interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skills

Soft Skills

  • Exposure to financial reporting including analysing large volumes of data sets would be well-received
  • Good business acumen with problem-solving creativity and commercial judgement
  • Highly organised with the ability to work under pressure and within set deadlines
  • Great communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Self motivated with a desire to learn
