We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our Better Data team. We sit within the Data Intelligence Camp, where we are responsible for enriching and curating data to help build reporting and analytics capabilities for our platform, leveraging data engineering, ML engineering and data science. We’re also working on levelling up Culture Amp’s approach to customer-facing analytics by leveraging Clickhouse for realtime analytics, to help HR leaders use data from across the Culture Amp platform to maximise and measure the impact they have on their organisations.
In part of this team of amazing humans,
You will
- Lead the design and build of the data pipelines that underpin our analytics products.
- Ensure those pipelines are tested, performant and observable.
- Monitor end-user performance and optimise the schemas and queries.
- Play a key role in promoting data best practices across the team and camp and support others to develop their own knowledge and skills.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure we’re responsibly managing our data in line with our privacy, security and compliance requirements.
You have
- Experience with cloud data warehouses such as Redshift.
- Skills in modelling and querying data in SQL and Python.
- Experience with ETL/ELT tooling including DBT and Airflow.
- Desirable but not essential - experience with CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code, ideally within AWS cloud.
- Also desirable - familiarity with AWS’ data tools, including Athena, Glue, SageMaker, EMR.
