Join THE ICONIC as our People Services Manager on a 12 month contract and play a key role in shaping the future of our culture! Reporting to the Regional P&C Director, this role oversees and leads the day to day administration, operations and service delivery of the P&C function and how it supports the business (managers and employees), focused on operational efficiency in a digitally-enabled function. Key People Services includes P&C Administration, P&C Tech, and P&C Analytics.

About the role: 

  • Maintenance & Optimization of Ask P&C (JIRA): Ensure seamless support for managers and employees by maintaining and optimising the Ask P&C (JIRA) system.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Audit & Regulatory Reporting: Oversee Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) reporting and other regulatory and audit requirements.
  • Industrial Relations Monitoring: Stay current on trends, regulatory changes, and award updates related to Industrial Relations.
  • Annual Classification Review: Support the July review in alignment with government-mandated wage increases.
  • Employment Entitlements Assurance: Ensure ongoing compliance with employment entitlements.
  • P&C Policy Governance: Review, maintain, and govern People & Culture (P&C) policies for accuracy and relevance.
  • Benefits Administration: Oversee the administration of employee benefits.
  • Remuneration Administration: Manage the Long-Term Incentive Plan (LTIP) tracker and support remuneration review processes.
  • Pay Equity Analysis: Conduct annual pay equity analysis and reporting.
  • HRIS Management: Oversee maintenance and optimization of the HR Information System (HRIS) to enhance efficiency.
  • P&C Technology Management: Lead P&C tech systems renewals, manage subject matter experts (SMEs), and enhance user experience (UX) across platforms.
  • Process Review: Regularly review HRIS processes and approvals for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Emerging P&C Technology Evaluation: Assess new P&C technology trends and evaluate their potential impact on internal tech architecture.

What Success Looks like…

  • Experience in a P&C Operations Manager role, with exposure to managing P&C systems
  • Experience in leading a team 
  • Understanding of HR Technology, contribution to an implementation of any HR technology whether having led, participated or been an SME on a tech project is desirable and Workday is preferred.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment.
  • Creative and effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and develop solutions.
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality employee experience, managing and developing wide stakeholder relationships
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Excellent planning and task management to deadlines
  • High attention to detail, process and systems
