The Role:
An exciting newly created position has arisen in our design team to support our Product Developers/Fashion Designers as a Buying/Design Assistant!
In this role, you will act in a critical support role, liaising with our suppliers and having responsibility for ensuring our beautiful product moves efficiently through our critical path to the end customer. Working cross functionally across departments - you will be the go to for all things suppliers, samples and assisting the team more widely with a range of tasks where no 2 days will ever be the same!

Day to day, you will:
Build relationships with suppliers and manage supplier monthly meetingsTrack/manage sample development deliveries to ensure that everything is on-time according to Critical Path using WFX/Excel Pivot TableNegotiating cost prices to ensure we achieve budget margin % using fit notes & record in WFX, referring to supplier historyUpdate and ensure details of each style attributions are correct in WFX Ensure WFX (PLM) is kept up to date and tidy by GTs/PD/DesignHelp set RRPs alongside Product Developers/Design Manager to ensure a balanced pricing architecture across the categoriesPrepare samples and cost prices for fits/buy meetingsPrepare the Line List from WFX (our system) for each buyTrack factory allocation for each style/collection to ensure we have a balance
Who are you?
Good excel/google sheets skillsPassion for fashion! You may have a fashion qualification - though this is preferred, it isn't essentialPrior experience working in an office environmentExceptional organisational skillsAbility to work as part of a team with a "can-do" attitude and positive dispositionAbility to work in a fast paced environment
