About the role
Reporting to the Practice Manager, we are seeking a Team Lead to oversee and mentor a team of Counsellors and Psychologists within our Mental Health and Wellbeing Pathways Team. You will work closely with the Practice Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, effective resource management, and the continuous professional development of the team—allowing therapists to focus on providing exceptional member support.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading, mentoring, and coaching a team of Counsellors and Psychologists to deliver excellent member care.
- Managing day-to-day operations, ensuring optimal resourcing and efficient workflow across the team.
- Implementing and reviewing processes to enhance team productivity and performance.
- Supporting the recruitment process by attracting, interviewing, and onboarding new team members.
- Monitoring team KPIs to ensure continuous performance improvement.
- In collaboration with the Senior Psychologist and the Practice Manager, develop and maintain Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for each team member, facilitating their growth and performance.
- Fostering a positive and collaborative team culture, encouraging open communication and feedback.
- Coordinating the training, professional development, and performance reviews to support ongoing team success.

What you bring to the team;
- 2+ years of experience in leadership, particularly within a client-focused service environment (telehealth or virtual therapy experience preferred).
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire and motivate remote teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly in a virtual setting.
- Experience in managing team performance and driving continuous improvement.
- A proactive, problem-solving attitude with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.
