Tyro Health is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Delivery Manager to lead a team responsible for successful, on-time delivery of our digital health experiences. You'll champion our engineering best practices and streamline processes to ensure scalable, high-quality technology outcomes. Whilst based in Melbourne, you will report to the Chief Security Officer.

What you'll do

  • Core Project Management & Delivery Planning
  • Champion the successful delivery of strategic technology projects through their entire lifecycle, from kickoff through seamless handover to ongoing support operations.
  • Proactively manage stakeholder expectations (both internal and external), ensuring clear communication of project scope, timelines, and progress toward goals.
  • Collaborate closely with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to drive alignment in project objectives and identify potential roadblocks.
  • Own project management systems (e.g., Trello, Jira, Monday) for tracking engineering team health, providing insights and visibility to leadership.
  • Oversee change management activities for project handovers, including driving process updates, developing training programs, and coordinating support documentation.
  • Craft and maintain all vital project documentation (scope, requirements, risks, issues, status reports, etc.).
  • Coordinate and plan health-related engineering initiatives spanning site reliability and security disciplines.
  • Facilitate regular work estimation and prioritisation sessions to optimise resource allocation and efficiency.
  • Actively participate in technical and product solution design sessions, contributing practical delivery insights.
  • Assign fortnightly work assignments based on capacity and priority considerations.
  • People Leadership
  • Directly lead a team of 6, including 5 engineers and 1 Business Analyst, providing mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
  • Empower your team and ensure a clear a path to make it easier for them to develop a product that customers will love
  • Coach and mentor your team to better versions of themselves
  • Project Delivery
  • Provide coordination and support for pre-release end-to-end solution testing and quality assurance processes.
  • Oversee Hypercare support once solutions are live, ensuring swift resolution and a positive customer experience.
  • Relentlessly evaluate and improve engineering ways of working, incorporating team feedback to optimise the team's performance and scalability.
  • What you'll bring

  • 5+ years of proven project management experience in a software development environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading agile development teams, preferably in a SaaS setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of fostering high-performing and collaborative teams.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management capabilities, both with technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict management skills.
  • Proficient with project management tools (e.g., Trello, Jira, Monday).

    This role is full time, but flexible to meet your needs. You’ll be provided with a laptop and all the tools and support you need to succeed.
