At 360biolabs, we develop and conduct pharmacokinetics (PK) and pharmacodynamic (PD) assays across a wide variety of therapeutic areas to ensure the success of our clients' clinical trials and preclinical studies.

Provide customer-focused finance, purchasing and administrative support as well as assistance in implementing new systems within a growing scientific contract research organization. This position is required to be on-site 3-4 days a week.

Key Responsibility Areas

  • The key responsibility areas (KRAs) are the major outputs for which the position is responsible and are not a comprehensive statement of the position activities.
  • Complete the following in an efficient and timely manner
  • Procure, negotiate, and contract for necessary inventory, goods and supplies
  • Request quotes and evaluate results with requestor to select best supplier
  • Create purchase orders and order inventory from suppliers to ensure adequate levels are maintained as requested by staff
  • Ensure inventory being received is compliant with relevant import rules and permits, etc.
  • Answer any enquiries from staff regarding ordering and delivery times
  • Assist in managing the relationship with suppliers including updating items, pricing and answering queries
  • Work closely with the Accounts Assistant to reconcile and investigate goods received and not invoiced
  • Assist in the investigation and implementation of new systems and processes as required
  • General purchasing and other related duties as required
  • Ensure the safe and efficient conduct of laboratory activities
  • Ensure compliance to relevant internal processes and statutory requirements
  • Maintain high levels of communication with colleagues and productive relationships with service providers and other partners
  • Adhere to ISO/IEC 17025, OECD Principles of GLP, GCLP Principles, 360biolabs’ Quality Management System, and other requirements as per NATA Accreditation and regulatory guidelines

  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, Standard and Guidelines for Financial Systems
  • Proactively reviewing procedures and processes and suggest recommendations for improvements
  • Collaborate well in a cross functional matrix environment
  • Review policies, SOPs, systems and procedures to assure the quality and integrity of service offerings at 360biolabs
  • Maintain records (LIMS, database and paper) to levels consistent with relevant standards and industry expectations
  • Attend meetings and training associated with accounts and the work of 360biolabs
  • Key Selection Criteria

  • Previous experience in an administrative or purchasing role (Essential)
  • Degree in Finance or Accounting plus business experience (Desirable)
  • Experience / Knowledge / Attributes

  • Experience working in a quality-controlled environment preferably an accredited facility following ISO/IEC 17025, GLP or similar quality systems (Essential)
  • Experience in handling clinical samples etc. (Essential)
  • Experience in Netsuite, or similar accounting software; experience in Tradogram, or similar purchasing system (Essential)
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite of software and experience in a range of financial applications (Essential)
  • Customer service approach (Essential)
  • Excellent organisational, time management, and report writing skills (Essential)
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team (Essential)
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills (Essential)
