About the role

As an Account Executive, you’ll be focused on acquiring small-medium business (SMB) clients to drive Sonder’s continued growth by engaging with a new sector whilst helping to overcome one of society's biggest challenges, the mental health and wellbeing crisis.

Your sales pipeline will be a combination of inbound sales leads as well as self-generated leads.

What you’ll be doing

  • Meeting and exceeding sales goals by managing and closing sales opportunities within the SMB territory
  • Negotiate with external decision makers to agree on pricing
  • Build trusted relationships with potential buyers and communicate Sonders' value proposition 
  • Leverage compelling insights and drive meaningful change
  • Participate in team-building and company growth activities including strategic planning, sales training, customer marketing efforts and product ideation

Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for new business development and be the kind of team player who inspires the people around them to improve. 

To be successful you must be self-motivated and adaptable. Above all else, you will embody the Sonder values and love coming to work knowing that you know you are contributing to a genuine purpose and mission.

What you bring to the team;

  • 1-3 years full cycle sales experience with a proven track record of success. 
  • Experience of selling in the health, EAP, or health-tech space would be an advantage. 
  • SaaS experience is also highly desirable.
  • Experience of MEDDPICC (or similar methodology, e.g. SPICED) would be an advantage.
