Powering the future
Gelion
Operating

Gelion Technologies Pty Ltd (Gelion) was founded in April 2015 as a spin-out from the University of Sydney. Gelion's breakthrough battery technology is set to power the future of energy supply. Gelion has developed a disruptive battery technology platform based on low cost, non-flow zincbromine chemistry. Gelion’s breakthrough arises from the versatility of its patented gel technology, capable of adapting to multiple battery chemistries for a wide range of energy storage applications, while providing a high level of safety that is not achievable from current Lithium-ion and Lead acid technologies.
