Oculo
Increasing efficiency and quality of communication of clinical information and images for better care and data insightsOculo
We believe connected care is better care. Our technology enhances collaboration, bridges disconnected data silos, and delivers fast, efficient patient care - and that's better for everyone. Oculo was founded in Australia 4 years ago by the Centre for Eye Research to promote better outcomes for patients managing chronic eye disease. Data silos can be the difference between going blind and getting needed healthcare. Oculo bridges data silos in health by allowing doctors to share valuable patient information like imaging, test results and referrals instantly and securely, regardless of location or EMR. The secure, cloud-based Oculo platform strengthens interoperability by facilitating seamless communication channels that enable eyecare providers to create a shared record including images to enhance triage and referral management, teleophthalmology and - where relevant - co-management.
