Associate Engineering Intake - join our CampUs program in February 2025!

Our CampUs Program is a great way to start your career in software engineering. It sets you on a learning journey with ongoing, adaptable and personalized development opportunities. The program’s development strategy provides a holistic path to growth incorporating all “3 E’s of Development”:

  • Experience: On-the-job experiences working on real projects with a supportive, cross-functional team.
  • Exposure: Learning by observation and seeking feedback. Mentors and buddies will guide you through the ins and outs of Culture Amp and software engineering.
  • Education: Structured learning activities to strengthen your technical and core skills.

Software Engineering at Culture Amp is an inclusive practice distributed across cross-functional, lightweight Agile teams, which are remote-friendly and embrace flexible work arrangements. You will be surrounded by talented engineers, learning from others, as well as sharing your knowledge with them.

This is a full-time, permanent Associate Engineer position. As an Associate Engineer on one of our teams, you can expect to:

  • Tackle a wide variety of technical problems across our codebases as you build features with support from your team.
  • Collaborate with other engineers in your team through pair programming.
  • Work with the product managers and designers in your team to understand customer problems and help to develop, refine, and then implement solutions.
  • Maintain and support the services your team is responsible for.

About you

This role could be for you if:

  • You have completed a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Software Engineering (or a related STEM discipline), or finished a coding bootcamp within the last 12 months, or are in the process of completing one. The degree or bootcamp must be completed before joining the CampUs Program in February 2025.
  • You are willing to learn to work across the technology stack that Culture Amp uses to develop our products - you are likely to find yourself working with React/TypeScript, Ruby, Kotlin, and Go but not limited to only these.
  • You are a proactive and clear communicator. You value empathy and kindness and are able to articulate your ideas and feelings when writing or speaking, and are open to the perspectives others bring.
  • You are self-motivated and can work independently. You take the initiative to ensure you have everything you need to work efficiently and call for support when required.
  • You have a growth mindset and you are willing to embrace challenges.
  • You are aligned with our values and demonstrate them through your working practice.
