Our CampUs Program is a great way to start your career in SRE. It sets you on a learning journey with ongoing, adaptable and personalized development opportunities. The program’s development strategy provides a holistic path to growth incorporating all “3 E’s of Development”:

  • Experience: On-the-job experiences working on real projects with a supportive, cross-functional team.
  • Exposure: Learning by observation and seeking feedback. Mentors and buddies will guide you through the ins and outs of Culture Amp and SRE.
  • Education: Structured learning activities to strengthen your technical and core skills.

Site Reliability Engineering at Culture Amp is an inclusive practice that embraces flexible work arrangements. You will be surrounded by talented engineers and have opportunities to both learn and teach.

This is a full-time, permanent Associate Site Reliability Engineer position. As an Associate Site Reliability Engineer on one of our teams, you can expect to:

  • Work closely with other engineers to build, maintain and enhance our services following industry best practices.
  • Work with product teams and end users of SRE tooling to understand their needs/requirements/problems and then work to develop, refine, slice, implement and measure the impact of the solution.
  • Collaborate with other engineers in the team through pair programming to build a shared understanding of the work.

About you

This role could be for you if:

  • You have completed a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Software Engineering (or a related STEM discipline), or finished a coding bootcamp within the last 12 months, or are in the process of completing one. The degree or bootcamp must be completed before joining the CampUs Program in February 2025.
  • You are willing to learn to work across the technology stack that Culture Amp uses - you are likely to find yourself working with TypeScript and Go but not limited to only these. Our developer teams also work in Ruby, Kotlin and Python, so being willing to learn to understand and debug those languages is a plus.
  • You are willing to learn and support a multi-cloud environment with providers such as AWS and GCP
  • You are a proactive and clear communicator. You value empathy and kindness and are able to articulate your ideas and feelings when writing or speaking, and are open to the perspectives others bring.
  • You are self-motivated and can work independently. You take the initiative to ensure you have everything you need to work efficiently and call for support when required.
  • You have a growth mindset and you are willing to embrace challenges.
  • You are aligned with our values and demonstrate them through your working practice.
