The Role
We are seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee all installation, managing breakdowns of mechanical, electrical and robotic equipment. Based in Truganina, you will lead the site maintenance function in providing both a reactive and proactive, multi-skilled maintenance service on all the company’s automation systems and machinery.
You will ensure the company automation systems are well-cared for and are suitable to support the company’s growing business operations.

What does a normal day in the life of a Maintanence Manager look like?
While no two days are alike at Catch, but you could probably expect your typical day to include some of the following things:
- Manage and lead the team, coach and develop a high performing maintenance team that meets agreed objectives, and delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvement.
- Ensuring that Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to. Manage the team on technical best practice and establish standard policies and procedures whilst also mentoring and leading the department.
- Ensure the optimum performance of automated multi shuttle fulfillment systems (AutoStore, SwissLog and Knapp systems).
- Allocate workload and supervise maintenance team.
- Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities.
- Contribute to management of cost and the cost efficiency of operations
Requirements
What you’ll bring to the role
- Extensive experience working in a similar role, ideally with a trades background as an Electrician or a background in electromechanics
- Experience leading a team of technicians in a complex DC environment
- A strong understanding of ASRS automation systems (AutoStore & Multi Shuttle systems preferable), electrical systems and electromechanical systems.
- Demonstrated knowledge concerning general safety protocol and procedures regarding site operations
- Exposure to large, time sensitive requirements, quality and customer satisfaction
- Experience in fault finding repair and maintain of hydraulics, pneumatics, programmable logic controllers, electrical circuits, electrical machinery and human-machine interfaces
- Experience with computer aided maintenance
- Experience in controlling spare parts considering risk and lead time
