What does a normal day look like for a Senior Frontend Developer at Catch?

• Build elegant front-end solutions using best practices with strong focus on mobile first
• Work closely with the frontend team, backend developers, UX designers, Product Managers, and QA engineers
• Ship functional, well-tested, maintainable and scalable code for new and existing web applications
• Work in a dynamic, learning orientated Tech team that strives for continuous improvement

Requirements

To be considered, you will demonstrate the following experience and attributes:

• Solid commercial experience in frontend web development
• Highly proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and React.js
• Highly proficient in different types of testing to ship code with confidence.
• Strong understanding of state management best practices.
• Strong understanding of software development best practices and responsive design principles
• Strong understanding of web accessibility and cross-browser compatibility.
• Strong understanding of front-end performance and optimization.
• Solid understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that application will adhere to them
• Solid understanding of RESTful methods and JSON data
• Enjoy working in Agile continuous delivery environment

Desirable skills:

• TypeScript
• GraphQL
