About the Role

As a QA Test Manager, based in Adelaide, you will provide operational leadership for the Quality team while overseeing QA environments and being a stakeholder in the release processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality releases to customers. This role is crucial in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards (with appropriate risk) and provide an exceptional customer experience. 

- Support the Head of Quality in understanding the dynamics of the team - from wellbeing, training, processes, learning, and effectiveness.
- Lead and mentor QA team members, supporting their professional development.
- Facilitate stand ups and escalate blockers.
- Monitor QA team metrics and identify and raise risks.
- Promote team engagement in identifying and communicating release risks across products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, development, support, implementation) to ensure quality conversations are embedded throughout the SDLC.
- Support ISO security requirements by conducting random reviews against JIRA tickets to ensure quality processes are followed.
- Promote risk-based testing and work with the team around their understanding & skills gaps, identifying opportunities for training and mentoring.
- Evaluate and recommend QA tools and processes to enhance efficiency and improve testing capabilities.
- Manage QA environments across all platforms.
- Oversee testing efforts and ensure they are prioritised effectively.
- Regularly review automation coverage and priorities to ensure efforts focus on high-risk areas and provide meaningful business insights.

About You

  • 5+ years experience as a QA with 2+ years team leadership experience
  • Experience managing test environments
  • Prior experience with test automation frameworks
  • Experience working in a SaaS or cloud-based product environment (desirable)
  • Strong understanding of agile testing methodologies
  • Ability to design and implement test frameworks
  • Experience in leading and facilitating testing-related workshops
  • Salesforce administration and/or development knowledge (desirable)
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices (desirable)
  • Familiarity with performance testing and security testing concepts (desirable)
