About the role

As a Data Analyst at Sonder, you’ll transform data into actionable insights that drive decision-making. You will work closely with stakeholders across all business areas—including customer success, product, marketing, and operations—to define problems and identify how analytics can support solutions.

Collaborating with the Data & Analytics team, you'll gather, transform, and analyse data to deliver insights that help shape business strategies. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about the full analytics process, from defining requirements to creating data models and analytics solutions. You’ll also play a key role in shaping our global vision to become leaders in wellbeing insights, while honing skills in technical analysis, innovation, and behavioural economics.

What you’ll be doing

  • Working with internal and external stakeholders to understand and define root problems to solve.
  • Identifying patterns and trends in data, using analytics methodologies to uncover insights and convert them into actionable recommendations.
  • Reporting findings to business teams through formal presentations (e.g., to external stakeholders) or informal knowledge sharing with internal teams.
  • Identifying relevant data sources, performing data exploration (collection, interpretation, and cleaning), and collaborating with other teams to bring new data into the warehouse.
  • Thinking strategically to build scalable analytics solutions that can be reused when relevant.
  • Organising and analysing data to answer specific business questions.
  • Recommending and advising on experiments to improve knowledge and testing methods from an analytics perspective.
  • Helping to uplift our analytics capability by defining new data collection and analysis processes.
