About the role

As an Account Executive, you’ll be focused on acquiring Mid-Market (MM) size clients to drive Sonder’s continued growth by driving new business and securing new customers to overcome one of society's biggest challenges, the mental health and wellbeing crisis.

Your sales pipeline will be a combination of self-generated leads, leads from our BDR team as well as leads generated from our Marketing efforts.

What you’ll be doing

  • Meeting and exceeding sales goals by managing and closing sales opportunities within the Mid-Market territory
  • As an experienced sales professional, you will be expected to have a deep understanding of the deals you are working on, including the pains, impact, critical events and decision making process
  • Negotiate with external decision makers to agree on pricing and work to agree on product customisation
  • Build trusted relationships with potential buyers and communicate Sonders' value proposition 
  • Leverage compelling insights and drive meaningful change
  • Participate in team-building and company growth activities including strategic planning, sales training, customer marketing efforts and product ideation

Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate has a growth mindset and is passionate, self-motivated, and takes pride in producing high-quality work every day. Above all else, you - the ideal candidate - will embody the Sonder values and love working in a fast-paced, dynamic workplace.

What you bring to the team;

  • 5 years full cycle sales experience with a proven track record of success
  • A demonstrated track record of closing a large number of new business customers in a disruptive sector
  • Comfortable selling to C Suite/ executive level customers
  • Experience of selling in the health, EAP, or health-tech space would be an advantage
  • SaaS experience is also highly desirable
  • Experience of MEDDPICC (or similar methodology, e.g. SPICED) would be an advantage
