We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our fast-growing company in the health and disability sector.

In this tight knit, startup team you will remotely work with Product Managers, Designers and founders to build a next-generation web application with a focus on exceptional user experience.

The role

In disability, it’s all about human connection. Your main job will be to build a product and platform that is initiative and offers peace of mind to people with disability, their families, therapists, and businesses in the disability space. 

You will be a key architectural voice in designing and building a scalable frontend and backend for our platform. As a tech team, we enjoy building efficient and reusable front end abstractions and systems. We expect everyone to participate in creating design documents, build and develop the solutions you've created, and as well as code reviews and pair programming.

We openly share, identify and communicate best practices for front and backend engineering, and collaborate with teammates to determine the best solutions to difficult problems.

About you

  • Experience as a Full Stack Engineer with a particular focus on deep-dive JavaScript (ES6, Promises, Workers, etc)
  • You've built applications using JS frameworks such as Vue or React, Web Technologies (ES6, Promises, CSS), TypeScript, Node, GraphQL, PostgreSQL.
  • A strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, with a strong understanding of concurrency, performance, data structures and design patterns
  • An analytical, yet creative, approach to problem solving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • It's a bonus if you have broader generalist knowledge of cloud, networking, and operating systems; Cloud Infrastructure – AWS, Google, or Azure
  • A strong appreciation and eye for UI and UX fundamentals and designs
  • Good understanding of Web fundamentals (PRPL patterns, performance cost, etc...)
