The Program Manager, Mobility will ensure the delivery of mobile battery electronic systems in accordance with Relectrify's technology roadmap. The ideal candidate can demonstrate experience in delivering successful product development projects through comprehensive forward planning and scheduling, risk mitigation strategies, exceptional stakeholder communication and collaborative problem-solving.
Drawing on your prior experience in high-tech startups or industries, you will serve as the conduit between internal Engineering and Business Development teams, ensuring our mobility products and prototypes not only consistently perform to the highest standards of reliability, safety, and customer satisfaction but are also engineered to be able to be applied to a diverse range of customer applications.
Further, you will be enabled to contribute to innovation and the extension of Relectrify’s technology into the mobility sector by leveraging the latest technology from Relectrify’s R&D programs. This is an opportunity to make your mark in the mobility sector.
Role responsibilities
- Bridge technical and business domains to bring new technology to innovative customers and ensure the delivery of mobile battery-electronic systems in accordance with Relectrify’s technology roadmap.
- Ensure resources, including engineering skills, contractors, and facilities, are prioritised in line with the long-term needs of mobility battery projects.
- Prioritise and schedule work activities to meet customer and project milestones.
- Push/pull information to/from the cross-functional teams to deliver prototype systems on schedule and budget.
- Manage program delivery and market-related risks, escalating as needed.
- Conduct design reviews and resolve technical issues in collaboration with the engineering team.
- Contribute to Relectrify’s intellectual property portfolio and provide recommendations towards the technology roadmap.
Requirements
Applicants must have full working rights in Australia and be willing to undergo pre-employment background checks (i.e. working rights, criminal history, and employment references).
Essential:
- Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in electrical/electronic engineering or related field.
- 10+ years industry experience and/or robust experience involving adherence to regulations and standards in batteries/energy/electronics, or a similar technical field.
- Previous success in a similar high-tech program management position.
- Highly skilled in high-tech customer engagement and problem-solving.
- A passion for new technology. You are ready to change the world!
Highly Desirable:
- PMP qualified
- Experience in battery systems, power electronics, or the automotive industry.
