Catch is embarking on an exciting period of growth, as our business grows so does our team, we are seeking a Content Director to support Catch’s Marketing function.

Reporting to the Head of Advertising & Communications you will be responsible for the overall planning, development, creation and implementation of Catch's content strategy. Leading a team of creative thinkers and doers, the right content director will bring a mix of marketing expertise and business acumen to the position.

We’re looking for an experienced manager of people, someone that can inspire others, taking our creative team to a new level as we continue to grow. The ideal candidate will have a natural eye for amazing ideas and a drive to connect with all types of audiences.

What you’ll be doing

What does a normal day in the life of a Content Director look like?

Well… no two days at Catch are alike, but you could probably expect your typical day to include some of the following things:

  • Managing the creative process from idea to completion
  • Producing fresh, innovative work that translates complex ideas into compelling content and bringing our content strategies to life
  • Directing brainstorming meetings and creative sessions
  • Using research, trends and analytics to create an ongoing monthly content calendar that includes content being disseminated daily.
  • Presenting, or overseeing presentation of final concepts, and obtaining approvals for deliverables
  • Leading a cross-functional team of graphic designers, copywriters, social media experts, photographers/videographers, in the development of content and deliverables
  • Supervise the department's daily workflow, assign project workload, and monitor deadlines and budgets.


What you’ll bring to the role

  • Extensive experience working in an advertising agency
  • An ability to recognize fresh approaches to content, bringing it to life through design and smart copy
  • A strong understanding of industry trends and creative tools
  • Understanding and past experience creating integrated content across all marketing channels from digital, social media, paid media, mobile, but also understand offline and print
  • Proven experience with concept development
  • Highly skilled with leading a team of creative talent
  • Brilliant interpersonal and communication skills.
  • An ability to work quickly in a high-pressure environment, displaying a high level of agility.
  • A self-starter mindset, you’ll be comfortable driving initiatives and establishing processes where they do not currently exist.
  • You’ll be a Creative thinker who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment
