We are seeking a Salesforce Developer to work within our Operations team to develop and document new features, as well as assist in the maintenance of our current implementation of the Salesforce Platform. You will work within a team of Salesforce professionals to deliver real business value via the development of the platform.

What does a normal day in the life of a Salesforce developer look like?

Well no two days are alike at Catch, but you could probably expect your typical day to include some of the following things:

  • Building systems that support the business to grow
  • Collaborating with the business to present your solutions
  • Integrating Salesforce into 3rd party and in-house systems
  • Building brand new functionality that is used by thousands of suppliers and partners
  • Troubleshooting problems and use cases that come up from the business
  • Attending and / or presenting in listen-and-learn sessions with the team to share and grow knowledge
  • Spending time on Trailhead to learn new features and how they can benefit the business


  • 1-5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in I.T or similar
  • Experience in web technologies such as HTTP, CSS and Java Script
  • Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies
  • Extensive experience using Salesforce Platform is essential
  • Knowledge of SFDX, GIT and source control principles is advantageous
  • Great interpersonal skills including the ability to develop key relationships
  • The ability to communicate and articulate yourself well
  • Demonstrable ability to find resolutions and outcomes when faced with adversity
  • A deep desire to learn more
