About the role:

Practice Ignition is seeking a passionate and experienced Content Marketing & SEO Specialist, Global to help accelerate our Organic Search acquisition across our global markets to help scale our global customer growth. This role can be based anywhere in Australia.

Reporting to the Director of Digital and Organic, the ideal candidate will possess a strong, data-driven SEO foundation with exemplary, end-to-end Content Marketing skills, including strong editorial and copywriting production abilities for both Marketing web pages and blog articles, and proven experience with launching high performing Content Marketing distribution strategies and tactics. 

What your day to day will look like:

  • Assist with management of freelance writers and relationships with content creators; provide constructive feedback to improve future work
  • Review and copy-edit freelancer/content agency work; in accordance with our in-house style guide/tone of voice for both Marketing web pages and blog articles
  • Consult with the Director of Digital and Organic on creative and progressive writing tips, as well as any updates on SEO and Google algorithms
  • Assist with content publishing using our CMS
  • Page analysis - Identify high-value pages for link building initiatives + backlink analysis
  • Optimization of all new and existing blog content, landing pages, and video
  • Perform high-quality and effective outreach as part of backlink strategy
  • Keyword Research review
  • Google Search Console, SEMRush and Dragon Metrics analysis
  • Creating bespoke metadata, including title tags, meta descriptions, header tags and image alt tags. 
  • Closely monitoring and reporting on SEO and Content performance for digital properties, including our Marketing Website and blog. 
  • Providing URL recommendations for new webpages, including vanity URL suggestions
  • Supporting content localisation efforts with regional demand generation team
  • Creating as needed guidelines for content SEO (for instance how your domain name affects your SEO)
  • Actively collaborate with specialists and account strategists to align content SEO efforts with other ongoing marketing and SEO initiatives

What you need to succeed:

  • Minimum of 3 years of SEO Content experience required
  • Experience in B2B Content Marketing
  • Must be a team player that is also comfortable working independently
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush / similar tools
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO
  • Experience with the Keyword Planner tool or Dragon Metrics is a plus
  • Knowledge of how SEO and SEM channels work together is a plus
  • Excellent command of the English language and strong copy-editing skills
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints is a plus
