About the role:

Reporting into the Financial Operations Team, the Purpose of this role is to own the Company’s forecasting and performance tracking and undergo deep analysis of key operational and financial metrics for the Senior Leadership Team. This is a commercial role with a large amount of variety and high level of exposure within the organisation. Outside of core reporting, you will be tasked with working independently and with other areas of the business to answer questions and provide valuable insights. 

Role Location: 

Sydney based with a hybrid working from home model.


What your day to day will look like:

  • Own the company’s financial model including monthly updates of key performance indicators
  • Lead the monthly forecasting process, working closely with regional and functional heads to create a future view
  • Analyse the company’s Software and Payments Unit Economics
  • Analyse drivers of Core SaaS metrics including customer acquisition, activation, churn and product engagement
  • Support the CFO in communicating with the board of directors and providing business wide updates. 

What you need to succeed:

  • Experience with forecasting and budgeting
  • Advanced computer software skills, including Google Sheets & Excel 
  • Ability to understand complex financial reports
  • Ability to be “hands-on” at a very detailed level however create meaningful insights for stakeholders from that information. Ability to effectively communicate accounting concepts to non-finance staff
  • Organised and dependable in daily duties
  • Team player and ability to establish strong relationships
  • Empathetic written and verbal communication skills to facilitate business cooperation
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
  • 3+ Years as in a finance/commercial analyst
  • Experience with Tableau and running SQL queries would be highly regarded
