We are looking for a Market Manager to join our team and support our ever-growing network of professional hosts. Market Managers (MMs) are the point of contact for our professional hosts and help them unlock value in the Hometime ecosystem. Part business mentor and part account manager the MMs play a crucial role in helping our partners build a successful short-term rental business.
Here's what you'll do:
- Build and manage long-lasting relationships with our network of professional hosts (partners) to ensure the ongoing success of both Hometime and their business
- Onboarding, educating, and training for new partners
- Supervise and support Market Coordinator to ensure partners are supported and meet their performance obligations
- Communicate with partners and clients at a senior level to resolve issues and inquiries
- Analyze data and utilise data-driven recommendations to identify strategic opportunities in your region to drive portfolio growth
- Maintain a baseline understanding of the technical integration of various software partners so that you can provide the right support to your partners
- Educate partners on all significant product changes and cascade feedback on product and policy to the relevant internal stakeholders
- Host regular check-in calls and business reviews with your partners
- Respond to and deliver exceptional service to your partners in a timely and efficient manner, to provide support and guidance
- Work cross-functionally with product, sales, marketing, finance, portfolio performance, and customer experience teams to ensure our long-term success
The ideal candidate:
- Calm under pressure, considered, highly organised
- Excellent communication skills and management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- 3+ years of experience in market/account management: consisting of new sales, account management, and client success
- 2+ years of short-term rental industry experience is a must
- Some experience leading people, even if not directly is a plus
- Ability to work within tight deadlines, adjust to changes in priorities, and balance short-term needs with long-term strategic initiatives
- Passion for Airbnb, travel, and the sharing economy - being an Airbnb host is a plus
- Self-starter who is resourceful and self-sufficient
